This is my entry for theartofmanipulation's Where I Belong Contest

The contest required artists to "depict the one place in the world you would love to stay or love staying in the most"
The ocean is that one place where I feel like I truely belong. When I'm at the beach looking out to sea, being able see sparking blue all the way out to the horizon, it reminds me of how small my problems are when compared with how big the world is. It completely puts my mind at ease. If I could be anywhere in the world it would be here - in the middle of the ocean, with none of life's complications - nothing but the salty sea air, sparkling blue water, and the sky above me.
Trying to experiment with using less stock - sometimes less is more, and simple is elegant. At least that's what I was going for
